AURAX Layer Gateway
Non-Custodial Stellar Wallet Access
Connect your own Stellar wallet, activate trustlines, and manage XLM and AURAX on the Stellar Network — all without giving up custody. AURAX Layer Gateway links to Freighter or a mobile wallet and lets you sign every action yourself. Your keys, your coins.
What is a Stellar wallet?
A Stellar wallet holds the cryptographic keys to your account on the Stellar Network. With it you can store, send, and receive XLM — Stellar’s native asset — along with issued tokens like AURAX. The important distinction is custody: a non-custodial Stellar wallet keeps your keys in your hands, so no exchange or company can move your funds for you (or lose them for you).
AURAX Layer Gateway doesn’t replace your wallet — it connects to it. You keep using a trusted wallet like Freighter, and the Gateway gives you a guided interface to activate trustlines, manage balances, and trade on the Stellar DEX, all while you sign every transaction yourself.
Non-custodial by default
Your keys, your coins
Private keys never leave your wallet. AURAX cannot access, freeze, or move your XLM or AURAX — you approve every action.
Freighter & mobile
Connect Freighter on desktop, or a mobile Stellar wallet through WalletConnect. Link in one signature and start managing assets.
One-step trustlines
Activating the AURAX trustline is guided and on-chain — a single, standard Stellar step to let your wallet hold the token.
Manage XLM & AURAX
View balances and trade supported markets — AURAX/XLM and XLM/USDC — straight from your connected wallet on the Stellar DEX.
Connecting your wallet, step by step
- 1Install a Stellar wallet. On desktop, add the Freighter extension. On mobile, use a WalletConnect-compatible Stellar wallet.
- 2Connect to the Gateway. Click Connect and approve the link request in your wallet. No keys are ever shared — only your public account.
- 3Activate the AURAX trustline. A one-time on-chain step so your wallet can hold AURAX. The Gateway guides you through it.
- 4Manage & trade. View your XLM and AURAX balances and trade on the Stellar DEX — signing each transaction yourself.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Stellar wallet?
A Stellar wallet is software that holds the keys to your Stellar Network account, letting you store, send, and receive XLM and other Stellar assets such as AURAX. A non-custodial wallet keeps those keys under your control — no company can move your funds on your behalf.
Is AURAX Layer Gateway a custodial wallet?
No. AURAX Layer Gateway is a non-custodial access layer. It connects to your own wallet — Freighter on desktop or a mobile wallet via WalletConnect — and never stores your private keys or takes custody of your balances. Every transaction is signed by you.
How do I connect my Stellar wallet?
On desktop, install the Freighter browser extension and click Connect — the Gateway requests a signature to link your public account. On mobile, connect a compatible wallet through WalletConnect. You approve the connection and every subsequent transaction in your own wallet.
What is a trustline, and why do I need one for AURAX?
On Stellar, before your wallet can hold a non-native asset like AURAX, it must open a “trustline” to that asset. This is a standard one-time, on-chain step that authorizes your account to receive the token. AURAX Layer Gateway guides you through activating the AURAX trustline in a single step.
Which assets can I manage?
You can view and manage your XLM balance and your AURAX balance, and trade supported markets (such as AURAX/XLM and XLM/USDC) directly from the connected wallet through the Stellar DEX access layer.
Who controls my funds?
You do — always. Because the Gateway is non-custodial, your keys and balances remain in your wallet. AURAX cannot access, freeze, or move your funds. Self-custody means you are responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase.
